Jerry Neal Hamilton

Funeral service for Jerry Neal Hamilton, of Mansura, will begin at 12:00pm on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Marksville with Rev. Dobie Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph No. 2 Catholic Church Cemetery.

Jerry Hamilton, age 67, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Riviere de Soleil Community Care Center in Mansura surrounded by family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Casey Hamilton of Lawrence, KS; father, Roger (Dottie) Cole of Marksville; brothers, Richard D. Cole of Oklahoma City, Davis Cole of Edmond, OK.,  and Wesley Gagnard of Slidell, LA.; sister, Amy Desselles of Broulliette. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchild; Abby, Emmy and Taylor, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Rick Cole, Davis Cole, Casey Hamilton, Wesley Gagnard, Sr., Wesley Gagnard, Jr., and Dawson Desselle. Honorary pallbearers include: Sampson Cole and Twyman Guillory.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Cecelia M. DeBellevue; twin brother, James Robert Hamilton; materal grandmother, Grace DeBellevue; and maternal grandfather, Neal DeBellevue.

A visitation will begin at 9:00am until time of service on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Marksville.
