Jerry Charles Joiner

Shreveport, La-Celebration of Life services for Mr. Jerry Charles Joiner, 77, will be held at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in the Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Pastor Perry Culver of Christ Lutheran Church, Shreveport, Louisiana officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM on the grounds of Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Keithville, Louisiana. The family would like to welcome guests for visitation Tuesday, December 23, 2014, from the hours of 9:30 AM until time of service at 11:30 AM at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Jerry was born August 18, 1937, in Henderson, Texas to the late Charlie Clifton and Mae Belle Williamson Joiner and was taken home December 17, 2014, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He served this grateful nation by joining the U.S. ARMY. Jerry will be missed by all who knew him. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings. Left to cherish Jerry's memories are his wife of 39 years; Jeanette M. Joiner, five children; Connie Shoemaker and husband Charles, Charles Joiner and wife Penny, Clinton "Clint" Joiner and wife Pam, Charlotte Irvin and husband Kenny and Gerald Gramm and wife Sharri, one sister; Evia Tyler and husband Bill, fifteen grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, his four legged faithful companion, Dudley, along with many extended family members and a number of wonderful friends. Honoring Jerry as pallbearers will be Chris Joiner, Bill Tyler, Zachary Gramm, Jonathan Gramm, Jermey Gramm and Bobby Wollschlaeger.
