Mansfield, LA - A funeral service for Jerry Dean "Buddy" McGee, 63, of Joaquin, TX, will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield. Pastor Bob Latham of Antioch Baptist Church in Mansfield will be officiating. A visitation will be held Friday, November 23, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the chapel.
Buddy was born February 21, 1955 and passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018. He is preceded in death by his father Pat McGee, his sister June Cockrell, his father-in-law Eddie Binning and mother-in-law Vera Binning, and his step-son Jason Neal.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Rosemary McGee; daughter April Booker and husband Daniel; step-daughter Melissa Pickett and husband Mickey; sister Sheila Parker; brother Kevin McGee and wife Susan; grandchildren Collin and Kylie Booker; step-grandchildren Megan Caughern, and Morgan Pickett; and step-great-grandchildren Christian Miller and Caleb Caughern.
Honoring Buddy as pallbearers will be Daniel Booker, Jeremy Binning, Johnathan Bryant, Scott Creasy, Clint Parker, and Stephen McGee. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Binning, Tim Hass, and Chris Cockrell.
