Jerry Lynn Peterson

Memorial Services for Jerry "Pete" Lynn Peterson, 73, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Salts. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Pete was born on October 2, 1942 in Shreveport, LA to Mr. Wesley Peterson and Mrs. Mae Wilson Peterson and passed away on January 27, 2016. Pete loved fishing, the Shriners and the Arab Unit. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He adored spending a lot of time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, sons, James Wesley Peterson, Raymond L. Peterson, and daughter, Mary McClellan Jones. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Elizabeth Peterson; daughters, Wendy Vickers, Fran Smallwood, Cindy Hockenberry and Theresa Evans; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
