Converse, LA - Memorial services honoring the life of Jessica Paige Williams Shaffer, 27, will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Rose-Neath Funeral Chapel in Mansfield with Brother Leon Manshack and Brother John Newman. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until time of service on Sunday. Jessica was born in Shreveport to John and Jill Williams and passed away in Syracuse, NY on April 14, 2015. Jessica was raised in Converse until her graduation in 2006 from Converse High School. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Mansfield. Jessica loved to sing. She proudly serviced her country in the U.S. ARMY. During her time in the ARMY she served in the Military Police at Fort Carson Colorado. Preceding Jessica in death were her grandfathers Johnny Williams and Harold Sexton. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her father John Williams and mother Jill Williams; daughter Sicily Mauriella Shaffer; sister Autumn Britt and husband Layton; brothers Jacob Williams and wife Crystal, and Jonah Williams; nieces and nephews Ashlynn, Ryder, Seeley Jo, and Dylan; grandmothers Doris Williams and Betty Woods Sexton; aunts Lisa Fowler and husband Tony, and Sheila Bissell and husband Jerry; cousins David Fowler, Jeremy Bissell and wife Amanda, Amy Huckabee and husband Clint; and numerous other family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
