Keithville, LA - Funeral service for Jessie Foster Woods, 75, will be held 12 noon Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Thomas Tuck. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at the funeral home. Jessie was born January 20, 1940 in Corpus Christi, Texas and passed away February 25, 2015 in Keithville, Louisiana. He was employed as a truck driver. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a great husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Ottie Mae Woods, and Mary Catherine Taylor. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Deanna Woods; sons, Jessie Woods III, Gary Hines and wife Jennifer Hines, David Arthur Woods and wife Debbie, and Stephen Woods and wife Dana; daughters, Mary Lynn Coonts and husband Dean, Terri McHorse and husband Randy, and Shelia Woods; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mary Lou Sims, Juanita Sims, Iwonna Minter, Linda Miller, Billie Patsy White and husband Bill, and Vickie Lynn Nixon.
