Jimmie Ruth Parham

Jimmie Ruth Parham, 80, was born on February 6, 1938 and went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at NW LA Veterans Cemetery with Brother Stan McGee officiating. Interment will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. She retired from Caddo Parish School Board and has enjoyed her days spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved taking trips to visit "Aunt Murilene." She enjoyed cooking Sunday lunch for her family. She had a heart of gold and full of love. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister. Left to cherish her husband of 59 years, Phillip E. Parham, Sr.; sons, Phillip E. Parham, Jr. and Wesley Wayne Parham and wife Jackie; granddaughters, Emily Ouzts and husband David, Hannah Parham and fiancé DJ Jones, and Abigail Parham; grandsons, Christopher Parham and Nicholas Parham; great-grandsons, Landon Ouzts and Corbin Jones; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
