Jimmy Michael Authier, a skilled carpenter, was called home on August 24, 2017 at the age of 52. He was born on October 26, 1964 to Richard and Beverly Authier. A celebration of his life will be held at the home of Tony and Brenda Lindsey on September 2 from 1-4 p.m.
Jimmy was a quiet, simple man with a creative imagination and will most fondly be remembered for his craftsmanship in woodworking. He was also extremely thoughtful; you could always count on Jimmy to remember the little things... the small details.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Authier, Sr.; mother, Beverly Authier; wife, Ty Authier; grandson, Dakota Authier; and nephew, Brian Warren.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Authier; grandchildren, Kayla, Allyssa, and Branson Hall; brother, Richard Authier and wife, Sabrina; sister, Tina Authier; sister, Debbie Allums and husband, Tommy; sister, Tammy Grappe and husband, Buddy; sister, Brenda Lindsey and husband Tony; brother, Calvin Authier; nieces, Autumn Prescott, Kristy Landry, Melissa Allums and Alacia Authier; nephews, Travis Authier, T.J. and Timothy Allums, Daniel and Matthew Grappe, and Tony Lindsey.
