Funeral services for Jimmy W. Bull, 66, of Gorum, Louisiana will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Logansport, Louisiana with Reverend J.A. Meeks officiating. The burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery in Logan, Texas. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport. Jimmy, the son of Nolan and Joyce Bull, was born October 18, 1951 in Alice, Texas. He passed away on August 18, 2018 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jimmy was a machinist by trade, but his favorite job was that of volunteer fireman for the Flatwoods Volunteer Fire Department in Panola County, Texas. He loved to read and watch westerns, spend time with family, as well as taking his grandchildren on vacation out west in the national parks. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Marjorie Bull, his sons, James Emerson Bull and wife Cassie, Joseph McClendon Bull and wife Kristin, and John Lorenzo Bull and wife Nikki. Also, his grandchildren, Johnathon Randall Bull, Caylee Elizabeth Bull, Jolea Michaela Bull, Alice Jane Bull, Adalyn Jade Bull, Alayna Renee Bull, Emmett Lane Bull, and Hanna Marie Bull. He has two wonderful young friends, Ezra Cortez and Marshall Lewis of Gorum LA. Pall-bearers include James Bull, Joseph Bull, John Bull, Ezra Cortez, Marshall Lewis, and Daniel Philyaw, with Johnathon Bull as an honorary pall-bearer.
