Jimmy D. Warren

Funeral services for Jimmy D. Warren will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at City On A Hill Pentecostal Church in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Andy Wilson and Bro. Mike Trammell officiating. Interment will follow at Minden Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana with military honors. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at City On A Hill Pentecostal Church in Minden.

Jimmy was born July 19, 1947, in Plain Dealing, Louisiana and entered into rest July 15, 2024, in Minden, Louisiana. He served his country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosemon Warren and Mildred Young, sister, Glenda Jones, brother, Larry Warren, and son-in-law, Ricky Corbit, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Sharlene Warren; sons, James Warren (Christine) and Mark Warren; daughters, Teresa “Tina” Bowers (Jesse), Karrie Corbit, and Kellie Travis (Billy); sister, Sue Havis (Nathaniel); sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild, and sisters-in-law, Renee Rayner (Ernie) and Vicki Barron.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bowers, Tyler Bowers, Dustin Hammontree, Ricky Corbit, Jr., Ethan Wren, and Brett Stephenson.

Honorary pallbearer will be Wade Maness.
