Jimmy "Jim" Carroll Bahm, Jr.

Funeral services for Jimmy “Jim” Carroll Bahm, Jr., 66, will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Interment and a graveside service will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Ave. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Officiating the service and graveside will be Brother Kevin Arinder, pastor of Liberty Baptist Church.

Jim was born on May 19, 1958, to Jimmy Carroll Bahm, Sr. and Carolyn Williamson Bahm and passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Fishing was a passion for Jim, and he enjoyed spending time at his camp in Toledo Bend. He was active with his church throughout his life and loved spending time with family and friends. Jim spent his entire career serving others and was retired from the Veterans Affairs Health Care system.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Carolyn Bahm. Left to cherish his memory is his aunt, Marilyn Bahm Miller; and many cousins and friends. Jim is also survived by his chosen family, Evon and Noel Cain, special friends who have been by his side the last few years, as well as Henry and Janet Dodd, forever friends of the Bahm family. Special thanks to Brianne Cardenas, another kind friend who has supported Jim.

Honoring Jim as pallbearers will be Kenny Miller, Greg Miller, Will Moore, David Hamilton, Andy Cutrer, and Noel Cain.

In lieu of flowers, loved ones and friends may choose to make a charitable donation in Jim’s memory.
