Jimmy Lee Anderson

A memorial service for Jimmy Lee Anderson, 75, will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church, 395 Watts Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Anthony Kimble.

Jimmy was born on August 24, 1948 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Mrs. Pearlie M. Simpson and Mr. Walter Reliford and passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jessie James Simpson; sisters, Dianne Chappel and Peggy Dillard and granddaughter, Lakesha Johnson. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mrs. Pearlie Mae Simpson; wife, Joyce Anderson; daughters, Pearlola Anderson, LaShunda Primus and husband, Rodrick and Romona Bryant; son, Adgie Johnson and wife, Ida; brothers, Willie Simpson, Jr. and wife, Wanda and Lee Simpson and wife, Sharon and sister, Edna L. Shyne; 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
