A memorial service, celebrating the life of Jimmy Dale Warren will be held on Thursday, July 21, at 1 P.M. at Church of the Holy Cross, located at 875 Cotton in Shreveport. Officiating will be Father Kenneth Paul and the Reverend Mary B. Richard. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 20 from 5 - 8 P.M. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City.
Dale was born June 17, 1959 to Jerry Dean Warren, Sr. and Jimmye Warren and passed away on July 13, 2016. He was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Dean Warren, Jr. He is survived by Meredith and their children Mark William, Malayna Margaret, and Mason John. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Betsy Thompson Warren; brothers Jeffrey Don Warren and wife Jennifer, Jon Daren Warren and wife Susan; sister Jill Boothe and husband Kevin; nephews Jerry Dean Warren III and wife Amanda, Jon Warren, and Josh Warren; nieces Brittany Benner, Brandi Benner, Morgan Eastwood, Olivia Campbell; great nephew Jonah Warren and great niece Sarah Warren.
Dale grew up in Sunset Acres Baptist Church under the guidance of Doctor Charles Harvey. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1977. There he was a member of the Knights football team, president of the junior class and a member of the Accolade Court. After high school, he attended Louisiana Tech University.
Honorary pallbearers will be Don Warren, Daren Warren, Jerry Warren III, Jon Warren, Josh Warren, Kevin Boothe, Jon Compton, Michael Compton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be mailed or delivered to Holy Cross Hope House, located at 762 Austen Place Shreveport, LA 71101.
