Jo Ann White

Graveside services for Jo Ann White, 73, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Clarence Chism. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. prior to the service Thursday, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA. Jo Ann was born in Watertown, WI on September 27, 1942 to George Shattuck and Edna Appendfelt Shattuck and passed away on April 30, 2016. She always had time for a cup of coffee and conversation with friends and family. She was an active member of the Pentecostals of Alexandria for many years. She loved taking care of kids and baking special treats for every holiday. She was known for her fresh homemade yeast rolls, she put so much love into making. Preceding Jo Ann in death are her parents. Leaving to cherish her memory is her sons, Hilton T. White, Jr. and wife, Cyndi of Shreveport, LA, James L. White and wife, Tracie of Braselton, GA; daughter, Frances Allen and husband, Charles of Pollock, LA; and eight grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105.
