Joe E. Hadwin

Joe E. Hadwin passed away February 2, 2018 at 84 years of age. He was born in Castor, LA and graduated from Louisiana Tech University. Joe had a successful career in the natural gas industry with United Gas and continued with his own consulting business after retiring. Joe was preceded in death by his wife Laverne, parents Walter and Vida, brother Bobby, and sister Callie. He is survived by sons Bruce (Michelle) and Michael (Genevieve) of Houston. He is also survived by four grandchildren who he dearly loved, Katy, Ashley, TJ, and Cody as well as four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Jerry (Sarah). Friends are invited to visitation with the family on Tuesday, February 6, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Rose-Neath Southside, 2500 Southside Dr. in Shreveport. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at Forest Park West, 4000 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Special Olympics or the charity of your choice.
