John L. Arbuckle, Jr.

John L. Arbuckle, Jr., 72, of Houma, Louisiana passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025. He was born October 20, 1952 in Mansfield, Louisiana to Talma Guillotte Arbuckle and John L. Arbuckle, Sr. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk Street, Mansfield, Louisiana. Funeral services celebrating the life of John will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025, Rose-Neath Chapel, Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. JP Cox. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Logansport, Louisiana.

John is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda H. Arbuckle; parents, John and Talma Arbuckle; son, Michael Brady Arbuckle, and sister, Lajauna Smith. 

Those left to cherish his memory is his son Justin Arbuckle and wife, Raquel; daughter, Jessica Tauzin and husband, Troy; grandchildren, Brycen Tauzin, Kenlie Tauzin, Keelan Arbuckle, Isla Arbuckle, and Luca Arbuckle; and siblings, Sue Vonsenden, Dale Arbuckle, Jimmy Arbuckle, Ricky Arbuckle and Cheryl Kufahl.

Honoring the life of John as pallbearers will be Luke Childress, Ricky Arbuckle, Pat Jones, Brad Arbuckle, and Jimmy Arbuckle. Honorary pallbearers will be Keelan Arbuckle and Brycen Tauzin.
