John L Bojako, Jr.

Social Springs Community, LA Celebration of life and going home memorial service for John Leonard Bojako, Jr., 84, will be held at Social Springs Cemetery, Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Brother James Hester, his pastor, officiating. Mr. Bojako has been home bound for several months. After a short illness, he passed from this life into the presence of his Savior, Jesus, at the Overton Brooks Veterans Medical Center. He served his country during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the VFW Post 8354 and American Legion Post 231. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances Lubreski and John L. Bojako, Sr., and brother, Robert Bojako. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia Martin Bojako; sister-in-law, Janet Guice and husband Danny and their family; special cousins, Stella Chesney and her family and Shirley Podratsky, all from Pennsylvania. A special thanks to the ER and 6N-ICU-stepdown unit staff at the hospital for their care and kindness to him.
