John Terrel Eason

A memorial service celebrating the life of John T. Eason will be held on August 5, 2017 at 10:30AM at Beulah Baptist Church in Mansfield, LA with Reverend Dave Permenter officiating. John was born in Mansfield on August 31, 1943 and died on July 6, 2017 at his home on Toledo Ben Lake in Sabine Parish. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnie and Joyce Johniken Eason of Mansfield. He is survived by his only child, his daughter, Leslie, her fiancé, Phillip; his two brothers, Dennis Michael Eason of Mansfield and Larry Eason, now living in China, his aunt,, Ms Lucille Johniken of Logansport, his ex-wife Sherri Rascoe and her husband Buford, who called him his best friend. T.J. loved riding motorcycles and all of his biking friends. He was an active participant in The Patriot Riders and a former member of CMA. He was also an active member of Beulah Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. John truly loved gospel music. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
