Funeral services will be held for Mr. John David Greene, age 65, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Homer, LA, on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Homer at Arlington Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, from noon-1 p.m., prior to the service.

Mr. Greene was born December 8, 1956, at Barksdale AFB, to Virgil E. and Carolyn “Ernie” Pixley Greene. He entered into rest on Friday, September 30, 2022, in West Monroe, LA. 

Mr. Greene was preceded death by his parents and sister, Bonnie Keene.

He is survived by his son, Mike Greene and wife Leslie of Farmerville, LA; sister, Cara Pugh and husband Jeff of Homer, LA; brother, Jeff Greene and wife Ramona of San Antonio, TX; granddaughter, Nicole Ramsey and husband Jacob; niece and nephews, Virgil, Jeff, Carson, Cason, and Josh; along with other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Pugh, Ronald Day, Marty Lowery, Russell Tabor, Clint Boyett, and Tommy Whitman.

Honorary pallbearers will be W.A. Spigener, Jack Greene, Kenneth Pixley, and David Monk.
