BOSSIER CITY, LA - Graveside services for John Philip Marbury, 82, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Ryan Cemetery in Ryan, OK. Officiating will be John Baker of Katy Church of Christ. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. John was born April 21, 1932 in Wewoka, OK and died September 26, 2014 in Bossier City, LA. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as a civil engineering draftsman from Barksdale AFB. John was an active member of Carriage Oaks Church of Christ. His wife of 54 years, Peggy Terry Marbury, precedes him in death. John is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Marbury Cutler and husband, Anthony of Memphis, TN, Julia Marbury Herren and husband, Brent of Cartersville, GA and grandchildren, Jessica, Laura, Kathryn, Adam, Philip, Kayla, Chelsea, Zachary and Abby.
