Funeral services for John Earl McEachern will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Tracy Winget. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. John Earl was born January 29, 1932 in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest November 16, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents Wesley Carson and Oma Branch McEachern, sisters Idessa Tyler, and Norma Miller, and brothers W.C. McEachern, Prentis McEachern, Jerry McEachern, and Wayne McEachern. He is survived by his wife Janette McEachern of Minden, son John E. McEachern, Jr. and wife Susan of Minden, Randy Allen McEachern and wife Rita of Doyline, daughters Annette Parrie and husband David of Minden, Melinda Elliott and husband Jared of Minden, sisters Joyce Bolyer and Janie Sue Kendrick of Minden, brothers Denton McEachern and wife Lottie, Gerald McEachern and wife Wanda, and Ellis McEachern and wife Flo of Minden, special brother-in-law Sid Ryan of Minden, grandchildren Brandy and Larry Alsup, Courtney and Chris McIntyre, Megan McEachern, Chelsea and Blaine Couch, Shelbi McEachern, Alyssa Elliott, Tristen Parrie and Jonathan Elliott, and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Timmie Dan McEachern, Terry Lane Miller, Gerald Leslie McEachern, Steve McEachern, Richard Bolyer, and Allen McEachern.
