John Benjamin McLendon

John Benjamin McLendon entered his eternal home in Heaven on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the age of 40. Although he was an angel here on Earth to many, he is now rejoicing and flying high in his forever resting place. His visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 9891 Texas Highway, Many, Louisiana 71449 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Graveside services honoring him will  be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Prospect Church Cemetery, 1401 Prospect Road, Florien, Louisiana 71429, with Bro. Clinton Alford officiating.

John was born on August 10, 1982 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Preceding him in death are his father, Allen D. McLendon. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Della (Byrd) McLendon of Zwolle, LA; his sisters, Amanda Bliss and husband, Taylor of Florien, LA, Mildred Hays of Coushatta, April Hays of Grand Cane, LA; his brother, Steve McLendon and wife, Ashley of Zwolle, LA; his nephew, Zane McLendon; and his nieces, Alexis Rodriquez and Maya Bliss; along with a host of friends and other relatives.

He will be missed dearly be everyone who knew and loved him!
