Shreveport, , LA - Graveside Services for John Edward Pearson, 88, will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Forest Park West. Visitation with the family will be held from 11-12 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Bob Moore. John was born December 14, 1928 in Shreveport to Archie and Melindia Pearson of Ida, Louisiana. John worked 44 years as an Electrical Engineer at SWEPCO. John loved to hunt and fish. An avid craftsmen's, John could often be found building and making anything. John was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ruberta Pearson, both parents Archie and Ruth Pearson, one sister Dorothy Hamilton and grandson Michael J. Guy Jr. John is survived by two sons; John Ralph Pearson and Donald Edward Pearson and wife Donna, daughter Donna Ruth Guy and husband Michael, grandchildren; Angela Vela, Lisa Guy, Ryan Pearson, Amanda Pearson, Travis Pearson along with a seven great grandchildren.
