John Thomas Robison, Sr.

RINGGOLD, LA - Memorial services for John Thomas Robison, Sr., 85, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Mr. Robison's son-in-law, Mr. John Orr will be officiating. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. John was born on February 28, 1931 in Shreveport to Cora Smith Robison and Frank Patterson Robison, Sr. and passed away on November 14, 2016. John proudly served his country in the USAF as a Sergeant. John was actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America for many years and Junior Achievement for 10 years. He retired from Gym Dandy/CBS Toys. John was preceded in death by his parents, Cora and Frank Patterson, Sr., son, Frank Joseph "Joey" Robison, and brother, Lamar Alan Robison. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Beverly Petty Robison; sons, Charles "Pat" Robison and husband, Michael Ginovsky, John T. Robison, Jr., Guy Robison, and Terry Robison; daughter, Nancy Orr and husband, John; grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, and Michael Orr; brothers, Frank P. Robison, Jr. and Dr. Lewis Merrell and wife, Joyce; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Herbert Master and Dr. Alan Borne; Dr. Manish Dhawan and Lauren Scheffy, PA at Highland Clinic Oncology Associates for all the care, support and love they gave to John through the years. In lieu of cut flowers the family suggests plants or a memorial contribution to the charity of your choice.
