John Steven Tauzin

Logansport, LA - John Steven Tauzin, 61, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel with Bro. James Runnels and Rev. Dee Anders officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the funeral home. He was born October 14, 1953 in Shreveport, LA to Paul and Katie Tauzin. He worked for Libby Glass in Shreveport for 40 years as a machinist. Mr. Tauzin was preceded in death by his father, Paul Tauzin; mother, Katie Tauzin; brother, Paul Tauzin and father-in-law, Vance Grabener. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Tauzin, of Logansport; mother-in-law, Dorothy Grabener of Elysian Fields, Texas; brother, Jimmy Tauzin of Shreveport; sister, Alice Sibley of Elysian Fields, TX and Linda Tauzin of Blanchard; two aunts, Lou Dunlap and Addie Youngblood; son, Steven Tauzin of Shreveport; daughters, Melissa and husband Dedrick Archey of Joaquin; and Christi and husband David Eddins of Joaquin; six grandchildren, Kenneth and wife Shannon Loyd, Amanda and John Temple, Mark Eddins, Breanna Eddins, Jarrod Tauzin; one great-grandchildren, Kayson Loyd; two nieces, Tina Tauzin of Shreveport and Jenifer Tauzin of Sheveport; one nephew, Jonathan Tauzin of Shreveport; two great nephew, Emilio Tauzin of Shreveport, and Luke Tauzin of Shreveport; and numerous other relatives and was loved by friends and co-workers from Libby Glass. Pallbearers are David Eddins, Dedrick Archey, Doug Williams, Kaleb Woolf, John Temple, and Deward Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Talent, Jeff Taylor, Charles Robinson, and other co-workers.
