Funeral services for John Wesley Lee, 60, will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A gathering will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. John was born on August 10, 1960 to Leonard Alvin Lee and Audrey Louise Schaffer Lee in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Friday, July 2, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. John was a resident of Shreveport and worked remodeling homes. He enjoyed fishing and playing the bass guitar. His joy in his life was his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a dedicated, loyal, hard-working man that never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by everyone that had the pleasure to have known him. Left to cherish John\'s memory is his wife of 37 years, Teri Lee; mother, Audrey Lee; son, Brandon; daughters, Amber Nicole Lee and Lauren Mishel Ivey and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Ayden, Kalaya, Mason, Noah and James; siblings, Dean Lee, Robin Lee and spouse, Frances; and numerous family members and friends. John\'s wife, Teri, would like to express special thanks to his family and all of his friends for the outpouring of love and compassion shown to John during his illness.
