JOHNNIE C. LEWIS   SHREVEPORT, LA- Funeral services for Johnnie Carl Lewis, 55, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, with Bro Timmy Tipton officiating. Interment will be held at Forest Park West Cemetery following services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2016 at the funeral home. Johnnie was a life-long resident of Shreveport, born on November 2, 1960 to Johnnie Rae Lewis and Shirley Maureen Harwell and passed away on August 27, 2016. Johnnie loved to hunt, fish, camping, and watching LSU football. Most of all he loved spending time with his daughter, which was his best friend, they had a bond that could never be broken. He also loved spending time with his other family members, and lots of friends. He loved to travel. Music was a big part of his life and he loved listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd. God made a beautiful country and he tried to see every bit of it. Johnnie was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley H. Lewis; wife, Terri G. Lewis; sister, Mauri Willis; cousin, Mike Coon. He is survived by his father, Johnnie R. Lewis; daughter, Riley C. Lewis; niece, Heather L. Willis; great niece, Carly R. Schrier; friend, Nancy Richardson. Honoring Johnnie as pallbearers will be David Stewart, Gregg Neal, Randy Bogan, Steve Ramsey, Rodney Guin, Alex Stockmon, Clay Cowart, and Henry Grabner. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Guin, Randy Guin, Jack Rains, James Robinson, Scott Teutsch, and Don Stewart.
