Johnnie R. Schnuse

Johnnie S. Schnuse, 85 of Shreveport, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 after a lengthy illness. She was born to the late Edward J. Sullivan and Annie Ebarb Sullivan in Mansfield, LA on May 22, 1931. A nurse by profession, Mrs. Schnuse retired in 1984 and enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Wilhelm (Willie) Schnuse who passed away in 1990. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Park East in Shreveport, LA. The family will receive visitation at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Mrs. Schnuse is preceded in death by her former husband, William J. Jones and daughter, Brenda Brecht. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Jones and his wife Sue of Doyline, LA, and Larry Jones of Jamestown, LA; and her daughter, Carolyn Ayers of Shreveport, LA. Her grandchildren include, Steve Haskins and wife Lori of Blanchard, LA, Randall Jones and wife Melinda of Panama City, FL, Angela Robinson and husband Rickey of Bossier City, LA, Mike Jones and wife Melissa of Stonewall, La, Kelly Hartley and husband Jason of Keithville, LA, Jonathan Emory and wife Danielle of Hurst, TX, and Jesse Ayers of Vail, CO. She also had numerous great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeff Ellinwood, Rickey Robinson, Steve Haskins, Stephen Haskins, Mike Jones, and Bill Ayers. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to the Alzheimer\'s Association, or a charity of your choice.
