SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Mitchell Andrew Collins \"Pops\", 75, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, with Bro. Doug Graham officiating. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the funeral home. Mr. Collins was born February 5, 1940 in Huntington, WV, and went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 19, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. He worked as a superintendent for C.W.D and was a past business agent for the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades for many years. He was a long time active member of Grace Way Baptist Church in Mansfield, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Madge and Benjamin Collins; daughters, Vickie Joyce Goff and Rita Ann Collins; grandsons, Larry Wayne Egan and Benjamin Goff; brother, Ben Collins and sister, Ann Copeland. Left to cherish his beautiful memory is his loving wife, Mary Santora Collins; sons, Johnny Mitchell Andrew Collins, Jr. and wife, Jennifer Collins, Ricky Darden and wife, Donna; niece, Tammy Haggerty and husband, Terry; grandchildren, Christopher Shane Collins, Sr. and wife, Tara Collins; great-grandson, Christopher Shane Collins, Jr.; brother, David Collins; and cousin, Danny Thornhill and wife, Sherry Thornhill. Pallbearers will be Phil Wilson, Shane Retzloff, John Santora, Gordon McGowan, Kyle Lee and Jeff O'Con.
