JOHNNY NEWTON WARNER SHREVEPORT, LA - A memorial service celebrating the life of Johnny Newton Warner, 65, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2014 at Asbury Methodist Church, 3200 Airline Dr., Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Jerry Hilbun. Interment will follow at Haynes Family Cemetery, Shongaloo, LA. Johnny was born on December 7, 1948 in Springhill, LA to Mr. Jack S. and Addie Crystelle Haynes Warner and passed away on September 6, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Haynes Warner; wife, Nancy Thibodeaux Warner. He is survived by his sons, John Thomas Warner of Chicago, IL; Seth Haynes Warner and his wife, Tiffany of Shreveport, LA; grandson, Jackson Haynes Warner of Shreveport, LA; brother, Jack S. Warner, Jr., of Shreveport, LA, and many friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. Johnny retired from the Air Force as a flight officer. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made in memory of Johnny to the American Cancer Society, Cancer Research Institute ,One Exchange Plaza 55 Broadway, Suite 1802, New York, NY 10006.
