Funeral services for Jonas Robert Byles 43 of Many, LA will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wayne Chance will officiate. Interment will follow in the Jerusalem Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 6-10pm. Jonas was born on February 7, 1971 in Many, LA. He entered into eternal rest at his residence on June 7, 2014. He was a graduate of Many High School and Northwestern State University with a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice and political science. He was employed by Alliance Compressors as a procurement analyst. He was preceded in death by daughter Kaitlin Byles; grandparents Robert and Ann Byles, Albert and Mildred Bell; brother Malcolm Byles, Sr.; nephew Hunter Byles; special friends and mentor Howard Baldwin and Emma Lee Foxx. He is survived by his wife Nicole Adams Byles of Many, LA; parents Clauriste Byles, Sr. and wife Judy of Many, LA; daughter Cassidy Brooke Byles of Many, LA; sister Nicole Jackson and husband Virgil of Robeline, LA ; brother Clauriste Byles, Jr. and wife Wendy of Many, LA; nieces and nephews Ivy Jackson, Alaina Jackson, Molly Simpson, Malcolm Byles, Jr. and wife Caitlin, Madison Nicole Byles and a host of friends. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Seth Key, Kim Lafitte, Max Stoker, Cade Anthony, Joey Carroll, Ivy Jackson, Malcolm Byles, Jr. and Mark Leone. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
