Graveside services for Joseph Chandler Bergeron, 35, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, Louisiana. Reverend Larry Foster will be officiating. Visitation with the family will be held at Rose-Neath Southside in Shreveport, Louisiana on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Chandler was born on October 27, 1982 to Michael Bergeron and Vickey Osborn in Baton Rouge, LA and made his Heavenly journey on April 20, 2018. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University, where he was a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity. After graduation, he worked as a Store Manager for Sleep Number in Shreveport, LA. Chandler was also President of the BNI Elite of Northwest, LA. He loved the New Orleans Saints, football, golf, hunting, and most of all spending time with his family. Chandler was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha and L.J. Bergeron; Louis and Merlean. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 9 years, Kristen Ann Bergeron; daughter, Ella Grace Bergeron; son, Brayden Bergeron; parents, Michael Bergeron & Robert and Vickey Osborn; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Randy and Kendra Ratliff; brother, Channing Bergeron and sister-in-law, Michanda Bergeron; sister-in-law, Jennifer and husband, Trey Leoty; nieces and nephews, Ava and Landry Leoty, Veonce Fisher, and Mitchell Bergeron; dog, Yogi; and numerous family members. Honoring Chandler as pallbearers will be Ryan Miller, Ryan Peters, Aaron Kirk, Wade Foster, Trey Leoty, Channing Bergeron and John Sampson. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Goods, Bo Burton, Carl Washington, Charles Rumfola, Mika Broussard, Billy Smith, Ken Deslatte, Robert Osborn, NHS Class 2000 and the Delta Chi Fraternity. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in honor of his niece, Ava Leoty.
