Joey was born on September 10, 1952 in Vivian, LA to Jerry D. Guess and Betty Jo Stahl Guess Hale and passed away August 16, 2017 at University Health in Shreveport, LA. He was a resident of Oil City, LA, worked in the oilfield as a pumper and loved working with horses.
Joey is survived by his father, Jerry Guess and wife, Martha of Vivian, LA, mother, Betty Jo Hale and husband, Hardy of Hosston, LA; siblings, Donny Guess of Oil City, LA, Mimi Beck and husband, George of Blanchard, LA, Kelly Morris and husband, Jim of Belcher, LA, Kevin Guess of Tennessee and Kasey Guess of Vivian, LA.
