Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Joseph Freddie Malmay, 58 of Fort Worth, Texas (formerly of Zwolle, Louisiana) will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, Louisiana, with Fr. Keith Garvin officiating; interment to follow in the church cemetery. A visitation for him will be held at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home Many Chapel Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 11:00 AM-9:00 PM; with a rosary starting at 6:00 PM and his visitation will continue on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 8:00 AM- 9:30 AM. Freddie was born February 26, 1963 in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Mattie Beatrice (Remedies) Sepulvado and Joseph Malmay and he entered into rest on May 18, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Freddie's favorite sport and hobby was fishing. He would fish every chance that he had the opportunity. He was a man with a wonderful heart that would always help others and would live his life to the fullest. The smile he had was infectious and he was kind to everyone, and he enjoyed living his life! Faith was something that he had in tremendous amounts; no matter if life was good or bad, he NEVER lost his religion. He would go great links to find a Catholic Church.
Preceding him in death were his father, Mr. Joseph Malmay; his stepfather, Andrew Sepulvado; his grandparents, Hosea & Sarah Remedies and Fred & Mary Malmay; his sister, Bessie Sepulvado Harvey; and his brother, William Sepulvado. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Mattie B. (Remedies) Sepulvado; his sisters, Polly Carter & husband, Scott of Marthaville, LA, and Debbie Sepulvado & husband, Freddie of Zwolle, LA; and his brother, Michael Sepulvado & wife, Jennifer of Church Point, LA. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
Honoring him as pallbearers will be Robert "Bob" Parrie, Phillip "Coon" Remedies, Jimmy Ray Mouser, Tommy Ezernack, Jason White, and Trenton Harvey. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie "Strut" Remedies, Tommy Remedies, Mike "Black Bird" Remedies, James "Chee Chee" Remedies, David "Roach" Remedies, Kenny John Remedies, and Rich Remedies.
