Celebration of life and going home graveside service for Joseph Michael McWilliams, 77, was held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Social Springs Cemetery in Ringgold, LA, at 10:00 AM with Bro. Olan McLaren officiating. Visitation was held at the Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, August 12, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mr. McWilliams was born March 8, 1939, in Dallas, TX, to Elwood and LaMerle Hendrix McWilliams and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 11, 2016, in Shreveport, LA. Preceding him in death were his parents, Elwood and LaMerle McWilliams of Coushatta, LA. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, Annette Thomley McWilliams; children, Alan Michael McWilliams and wife, Mayte of Benton, LA, Michele X-Anne McWilliams Manahan of Oakland, TN, and Stacey McWilliams Loftin of Coushatta, LA; grandchildren, Kelsey Michele Manahan of Shreveport, LA, Zachary Michael Manahan of Oakland, TN, Ansley Madison Loftin, Kenley Madalyn Loftin of Coushatta, LA, Ava Isabelle McWilliams and Addison Sophia McWilliams of Benton, LA; and great-grandchild, Cody Michael Morgan of Oakland, TX.
