  Bossier City, LA - Graveside services honoring the life of Josephine Franks, 87, will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, LA with Reverend Dennis Bjornberg officiating. Josephine was born on May 10, 1929 to Sidney L. and Alice G. Walley and entered into rest on January 26, 2017 in Bossier City, LA. Josephine was a loving mother and grandmother. Preceding Josephine in death were her husband, Jack Franks; parents Sidney L. and Alice G. Walley; four sisters, and one brother. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons James Ronald Franks of Homer, LA, Jack Elvis Franks, Jr. and wife Beverly of Zanoni, MO, Donald Ray Franks of Bossier City, LA; daughter, Jo Darlene Franks-Ramsey of Joaquin, TX; sister, Inez Aaron and husband Mike of Plain Dealing, LA; grandchildren, Jamie Franks of Bossier City, LA, Sherina Franks of Shreveport, LA, Christopher Smith and wife Sarah of Gloster, LA, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
