Joshua N. Offutt

HAUGHTON, LA - Funeral services for Joshua Nathaniel Offutt, 39, will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Father Pike Thomas. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery, Ringgold, LA. Visitation with the family will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA. Joshua was born in Shreveport, LA on February 11, 1975 to Henry and Kay Conly Offutt and died August 13, 2014 in Haughton, LA. Joshua served his country in the U.S. Army as an Army Ranger. He was a Satellite Communications Engineer. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Vander and Nelwyn Conly and Henry Sr. and Mary Offutt. Joshua is survived by his parents, sisters, Amy Offutt, Ashley Offutt Bridges; brother, Jason Offutt; nephews, Jay Offutt, Sawyer and Colby Bridges, Evan and Connor Offutt; nieces, Sarah Offutt, Avery Offutt and his special furry babies, Jake and Sugar Baby. Honoring Joshua as pallbearers will be, Austin Parrish, Rob Maxwell, Bubba Malone, Eric Hammack, Jack Bridges, Jonathon Offutt, Ryan Offutt and Eric Reedy. The family suggests memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
