Joy Denise Simmons

Shreveport, LA - A memorial service celebrating the life of Joy Denise Beckham Simmons, 60, will be held at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 6 p.m. Joy was born in Ouachita Parish, LA on January 15, 1957 to Virgil E. Beckham of Epps, LA and Helen Lavern Aucoin of Ashland, LA. Joy is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, EB Simmons; and step daughter, Darla Simmons. Left to cherish her beautiful memories are her sons, Bryan and wife Bea Bowman, and Michael and wife Jennifer Bowman; grandchildren, Kayleigh, Madison, and Cade; sister, Theresa Rhoades, Lisa Lunday, Katherine Baker and husband Travis; brother, Richard Beckman and wife Juanita, Kenneth Beckham and wife Sharon.
