Joyce M Cox

Funeral services celebrating the life of Joyce M. Cox will be held Monday, June 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.     at Rose-neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in (Dixie Inn) Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon Monday prior to the service time.

Joyce was born February 20, 1934, in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana and entered into rest June 8, 2023, in Brandon, Mississippi.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gene Cox; parents, Martin and Irene Sistrunk; one sister; and four brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Darwin Cox (Kim) of Brandon, MS, Dwain Cox (Pat) of Kosciusko, MS, Darrell Cox (Rocio) of Clinton, MS, and Derrick Cox (Becky) of Minden, LA; sisters, Sarah Callens of Kilgore, TX and Shirley Flowers of Sacramento, CA; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.

The pallbearers will be Austin Cox, Tyler Cox, Dakota Mosley, Dustin Cox, Stephen Thomas, and Tommy Logan.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Minyard and Gordon Dyck.
