Funeral services for Joyce Lee Gamble will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with Rev. Lewis Attaway officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Joyce was born January 14, 1931 in Heflin, Louisiana and entered into rest October 1, 2014 in Minden, Louisiana. She was an active member of Germantown Baptist Church, owner/operator of J&G Grocery for forty years and a homemaker. Her husband George Allen Gamble, Jr., parents G.B. and Maybelle Lee, sister Jeanette Thurman, great-grandchildren James, Helen, and Sarahbeth Austin, and brother Howard Lee preceded her in death. She is survived by her children: Clay and wife Kathy Gamble, George A. (Chuck) and wife Mary Ellen Gamble, grandchildren: Kelly and wife Kari Gamble, Toni and husband Charles Austin, Lauren and husband Grey Murphy, and Ben Gamble, great-grandchildren: Madelyn and Thomas Gamble, C.J. and Trey Austin, and Ada Joyce Murphy, brother: Gerry and wife Pattie Lee, and numerous nieces and nephews.
