SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Joyce Duck Lodatto, 70, will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Chad Hardbarger, assisted by Rev. Harry Forrester. Interment will follow at Fillmore Cemetery, Haughton, LA. Joyce was born September 1, 1943 in Beaumont, TX to Charles Lee Duck and Delma Laura Ragsdale Duck and died July 31, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. Joyce was a loving Christian wife, godly mother and a friend to all. She loved the Lord with all her heart and is now rejoicing with her family in Heaven. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Lois Kolb and Dale Hammock. She is survived by her husband of almost 53 years, Donnie J. Lodatto of Shreveport, LA; children, Sheri Dillon and husband, Doug of Prosper, TX, Charles Lodatto and wife, Chauntel of Arlington, TX, Rebecca Parker and husband, Curt of Pollock, LA; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her best friend, Carol Ramsey of Shreveport, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Emmanuel Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
