Funeral services for Joyce McCormick will be held Monday, January 29, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Jeff Luellen and Bro. Jim Crain officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at 12 noon Monday until service time at the church.
Joyce was born August 30, 1931 in Spearsville, Louisiana and entered into rest January 26, 2018 in Minden, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Don M. McCormick.
She is survived by her sons Johnny McCormick and wife Denise, David McCormick and wife Cindy, and Jeffrey McCormick and wife Cindy all of Minden, daughters Linda Reed and husband Wayne of Haughton and Donna Greer and husband Tim of Minden, sister, Ruth Gray of Bernice, 20 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and a number of great great-grandchildren.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank Aime Hospice; Dot Lopez, Erica Shelley, Tay Ivory, Ky Eisha Edwards Precious Edwards, and Jasmine Howard special nurses, Liz Glass, Britney Avery, and Kyla Mora.
