Juanita Neel Jackson

A graveside service for Juanita Neel Jackson, 95, will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at the Keithville Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Scott Shirley.

Juanita was born on February 23, 1929, to Hoyt Neel and Vera Callaway Neel in Negreet, Louisiana, and went to be with her Heavenly Father on Father’s Day, June 16, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Juanita retired from the Banking industry and settled into retirement spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She would speak her mind and let you know exactly what she thought, but it was all in love. Everyone loved her spunky personality and will remember her for her loving nature. Juanita loved her family dearly; her grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved her fur babies, but above all, she loved the Lord. 

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt Neel and Vera Callaway Neel, and her husband, Keith Burns Jackson. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Jackson White; son, Robert Neel Jackson; grandchildren, Dana McGaha, Keith McGaha, Keri Frazier, John Frazier, Barrett Jackson, Ashley Jackson; great-grandchildren, Michael McGaha, Anna McGaha, Dylan Frazier, Taylor Frazier Duke, Danny Duke, Barrett Jackson, Ashley Jackson; great-great-grandchildren, Madisyn Jackson, and Hayden Jackson.
