Logansport, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Juanita C. Phillips, 72, will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Logansport, LA. Friends may visit Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 6 pm until 8 pm at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA. Burial will follow at the Old Home Cemetery in Joaquin, TX. Juanita was born April 23, 1946, the daughter of Ed and Inez Watkins Cheshire, in Henderson, TX. She passed away June 12, 2018 in Mansfield, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hobert Phillips; Special Companion, Jerrold Price; sisters, Ruth Cheshire, Louellan Cheshire & Roxie Curtis. Juanita lived for her grandchildren and great grandchildren they were truly the light of her life. Juanita would help with all that she had even when she did not have it to give. She is survived by her son, Leroy Phillips; daughters, Polly and husband Bo Price, Rita Fletcher and Tammy Barber; brother, Johnny Cheshire; grandchildren, Tabitha Fletcher, Elizabeth Fletcher, Donald Green, Britnie Phillips, Crystal Barber, Kasey Barber, Allen Price, James Price and Christy Price; Great Grandchildren, Khaley Fletcher, Rory Wilson, Bryson Bennett, Olivia Williams, Isabella Grubb, Trevor Greer, April Price, Micheal Price, Ariel Price and Matthew Price.
