Judy Doucet Cobb

Funeral services honoring the life of Judy Doucet Cobb who died on July 5, 2023, will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Chaplain Jimmy Sistrunk.

Judy was born August 19, 1953 in Shreveport. She was an award-winning regional painter, renowned for her work, especially in landscapes, still life, and primitive artwork. She had the talent to adapt to many mediums and many different types of art. She loved spending time in her kitchen and was an excellent gourmet cook. She loved animals, especially dogs and horses. She was devoted to all her friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Joyce Hood Doucet.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Janet Doucet Shelton and husband, Al; aunt, Nita Hood Gilbert; and cousins, Richard Gilbert, and Terri Gilbert Spence and husband, Mike.

Honoring Judy as pallbearers will be Gary Byas, Clint Byas, Don Byas, Mike Brock, Roy LaCour, and Don Parkman.

Judy will be terribly missed by her family and friends, but we will forever love her and cherish her memory.
