Judy Darline Wierick

Judy Darline Wierick, known as Jody to many of her friends, passed away on May 31st 2016. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on January 26, 1948. She attended High School in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1982 with a nursing degree. In addition to her career as a Registered Nurse, Judy loved to travel and spent almost 18 years as a traveling nurse working in and out of the US. Judy was a resident of Huntsville, Texas since 2004 in Elkins Lake and owns and operates Commercial Storage & Legacy Apartment along with numerous rental properties. Her parents who preceded her in death were residents of Huntsville for over thirty years. She was a member of the Eastern Stars, the Independent Order of the Foresters, Oklahoma State Life Alumni and Cambridge Who's Who. Her family and friends were her greatest love and meant the world to her. For many years she raised her grandchild, Tanner Erb, who is now and has been a Police Officer in the State of Texas. It was her nature to be genuine as well as wise, which are characteristics that she was taught by her parents. She had the qualities of a woman that anyone would strive to live up to and taught us the value of love, generosity of heart, that family comes first and good friends last forever. Her warm heart and strong presence will be missed but not forgotten. Judy is survived by three children: Ronald Fielding Jr. of Huntsville, Texas; Tara Moreland of Huntsville, Texas and Tracy Moreland of Fort Smith Arkansas; sister, Madaline Shearer of Half Moon Bay, California and brother, Bisby Wierick III of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
