Julia Cornelia Nolan

Services for Julia Cornelia Nolan will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Tommy Patton. Visitation will be prior to the service Thursday, beginning at 10 a.m. Committal services will be at 4 p.m. at Christ Church Cemetery, Bastrop, LA. Julia was born to John C. Jr. and Helen Freeland in Colorado Springs, Co on May 22, 1924 and died April 30, 2018 in Bossier City. Julia was a charter member of Cypress Baptist Church and a retired elementary school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Huey F. Nolan; parents and brother, John Freeland. Julia is survived by sons, John Nolan and wife, Maria of Greenville, SC, Jeffrey Nolan of Lilburn, GA, Roger Nolan and wife, Whitney of Jasper, GA; daughter, Joan O'Rourke and husband, Rick of Miami, FL and grandsons, Jacob and Michael Nolan. The family of Julia would like to extend their sincere and heartfelt thanks to Cypress Baptist Church, Julia's Sunday School Class and the senior department at the church for all their love, care and compassion. The family suggests memorials may be made to Cypress Baptist Church.
