Julie Cecille Conly

A memorial service for Julie “JuJu” Conly, 58, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m.  until service time. Officiating the service will be Billie Carroll.

Julie was born on May 12, 1964 to Jerry and Margaret Varnado in Dallas, Texas and passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Julie graduated from Grand Saline High School in 1982. Her majorette team received a division one ranking in the regional competition. She married Chuck Conly on May 24, 1996 and worked for Schumpert CHRISTUS Health for over 25 years. She loved arts and crafts, LSU football, Blanchard baseball and her all-time favorite happy place was the beach at Gulf Shores.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Chuck Conly; sisters, Elizabeth Varnado and Ginger Mohan and husband, Michael; her daughter, Elle Bellamy and husband, Matt; her sons Jacob Conly, Kyle Conly and wife, Kaitlynd  and Kory Conly; her niece, Graci Mohan; her grandchildren, Lovella, Bing, Van, Adelynn, Brielle, and Chase and her sweet fur baby, Lady Bug.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation of your choice to help cover funeral expenses through Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
