Julia "Julie" Evelyn Hudson Bolding

Julia “Julie” Evelyn Hudson Bolding, 66, went home to her Lord and Savior on October 14, 2023. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Rd. in Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Fr. Dhanraj Narla.

Julie was born on October 9, 1957 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Julius Marice Hudson and Julia Martha Temple Hudson and passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Julie was a resident of Keithville, Louisiana. She was married to her husband, Barry Don Bolding, for 45 wonderful years before his passing. She was a very kind and caring person. Julie spent 15 years as a RN mostly in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Prior to her nursing career, she was a medical transcriptionist and an avid animal lover.

Julie is preceded in death by her husband, Barry Don Bolding; parents, Julius and Julia Hudson; aunt, Barbara Hudson Phelps; uncle, James Phelps; and several other uncles. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Tabitha Faith Bolding; sister, Cyndi Hudson Brown; brother, Julius Hudson Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; and stepmother, Sara Guidry.
