Karen S. Clark

A going home service for Karen S. Clark, 69, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta, LA. Officiating the service will be Bro. Mike Honzell.  Interment will follow in the L. C. Weaver Cemetery in Campti, LA.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Clark was born on November 25, 1953, in Monroe, LA to Oria Young Smiley and passed away September 4, 2023, in Natchitoches, LA.  She was adopted by her grandparents, Warren and Nellie Young.

            Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil Clark, Sr.; and an infant, brother, Arthur Thomas Smiley.

            Mrs. Clark is survived by her son, Cecil Clark Jr. and wife, Julia of Campti, LA; daughters, Amber Clark of Clarance, LA and Gracie Choate and husband, Jeffery of Saline, LA; sisters, Arlene Hatfield and husband, Elton of Monroe, LA and Evonne King and husband, Glen of Glenmore, LA; grandchildren, Joshua Withers, Jazmyne Clark, Jonathan Fuller, Branson Choate, Daisy Choate, Evelyn Choate, Shannon Floyd, Ryan Floyd, Addison Robinette, Zaine Choate, and Jazper Choate and numerous relatives and friends.

            Honoring Mrs. Clark as pallbearers will be Cecil Clark, Jr., Jeffery Choate, Joshua Withers, Jonathan Fuller, Artie Young and Brandon Streetman.
